2 storey - floor - wall - floor -wall
Trying to do a 2 storey house. Watching tutorials, suggestion seems to be draw: GndFloorRoom => GndFloorWall => Add level => 1stFloorRoom => 1stFloorWall....
For the life of me, can't get anything to line up! eg Draw GndFloorRoom as 13x9m Draw GndFloorWall by double clicking on floor - don't know what the dimensions are, but apparently supposed to be correct Add Level Draw 1stFloorRoom at 13x9m - Hmmm, doesn't fit
Do the walls on the GndFloor not sit on the floor?? How can you check and adjust for that?? Or make it the default.
Is there any way to get the properties of the currently selected item displayed? Only way I have figured out to do this, is to install the advanced editing plugin - but then you have to go through the process of opening that to find out the size...

The "ghost" of the walls at the ground floor should be visible at the upper level to help you draw walls there. Isn't it the case? When magnetism is activated, It should help you to draw walls at the same location in the upper floor. You could also copy-paste walls from the lower level to the upper level.

Is there any way to view the properties of something? ie Draw a floor, and try and view the actual size after finishing, but the only way I can see is to open the Advance Editing and check it through there... VERY tedious. Surely it would be more sensible to have a window that stays on screen, that shows the properties of the currently selected item??

And when magnetism is active, shouldn't whatever you draw, snap to the grid? ie want to draw a 9x5 box, starting at 0:0 top left, but have to scale out to see the whole box. If I start very close to 0:0, shouldn't it snap there, such that x is exactly on the 9m mark, and y is on the 5m...? Thanks.

There's no "snap to the grid" feature and won't be, because magnetism to other objects is more important and in real life, dimensions don't snap to a grid. If you want to enter room dimensions while drawing, see this video.
