Trouble installing Furniture Editor
I just installed the latest version of Java and downloaded the latest Furniture Editor (there are no previous versions of either installed). All instructions say to double-click on the JAR and Furniture Editor WILL open, but it does not. There's a brief flash of a window, so something's trying to happen, but the Editor won't open. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Re: Trouble installing Furniture Editor
It lists the java version as 18.0.1.1. So I need to find an older version? The second command yielded an error: unable to access jarfile furnitureeditor.jar. (The location was c:\windows\system32.)

Re: Trouble installing Furniture Editor
I think I got it to open. I had to change the prompt to the directory where the JAR file is located and the different filename (FurnitureLibraryEditor-1.29.jar). Now, I expected it to be populated with the furniture that's already in SH3D, but it's empty. Since I'm using the Microsoft Store version, I have not idea where (or if) it's stored on my hard drive. How should I proceed?

Re: Trouble installing Furniture Editor
It’s an editor able to modify SH3F libraries, so you have to open the SH3F file you want to edit first, and by the way, you should quit Sweet Home 3D if you want to edit the SH3F files used by the program. To find the folder of a SH3F file used by Sweet Home 3D, click on it among the files listed in the Furniture libraries section of the Libraries in use pane. The latter pane is displayed by clicking on the Libraries... button shown at the bottom of Sweet Home 3D About dialog box. Note that if you modify one of the SH3F files provided with the Microsoft Store version, you should keep a copy of your modified file otherwise you might lose the modification at next update.

I have used the editor on many occasions while SweetHome3D was also running and never had problems. Probably because the SH3F files I was editing were not imported yet in SweetHome3D.
Was this requirement mentioned anywhere?
A check and warning when you open a SH3F file which is already in use by SweetHome3D is a good feature for the next version because many users will not know this. That is, if it's safe to edit SH3F files not imported in SweetHome3D yet. Otherwise a warning that SweetHome3D must be closed is needed.

Re: Trouble installing Furniture Editor
I think I mentioned it in the main thread about the Furniture Library Editor. Editing an installed SH3F file is possible if it's not write protected but it won't have any effect in Sweet Home 3D until you relaunch it.
