texture application on TOP of a.wall?

Hello Forum,

I have a challenging question:

How to apply a texture on top of a wall?

Scenario:
There is a swimming pool ( or similar) who has typical tile Textur,
But this texture should also be on the top of the walls surrounding the pool

Thank you for.your input

Re: texture application on TOP of a.wall?

You can't apply a texture to the top of a wall.
You can apply a color to the top of a wall: use Modify Walls.

As a workaround you could place a thin textured box on top of the wall.

Re: texture application on TOP of a.wall?

There are some alternatives:
a) use very tall and thin baseboards to represent the low part of the wall, and apply a texture to the main wall for the high part;
b) design a texture of the same height of the wall and paint it so that the high part is as you expect.

EDIT: reading the post again I think I misunderstood the request, so just ignore my message.
