SH3D version 7.0.2 starts up with 2 instants?!
Hi there,
I have a weird situation here. I updated my SH3D (on windows 10) from version 6.2 to 7.0.2. And then it was totally fine to create, reopen, and print it without any problem for a few days. But, something went wrong while opening it again. The SH3D showed an "Untitled" home with nothing on it. And, when I tried to load the file again, it said that file is already opened.
I then installed SH3D back to version 6.2. Finally, I can load that file again but of course with a warning message. "The information added to home in that version won't appear with the version of Sweet 3D you use now, and could be lost if the home is saved."
My wild guess is that SH3D somehow started 2 instants: the normal one with that saved file is hidden but showing only another instant with a "Untitled" file.

You must have a recovered file which can't be opened. Go to the folder C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D (where user is your login), remove the folder named recovery that you'll find there and restart the program.

thanks for your answer! I tried the way you mentioned to remove or rename that folder "recovery" which is empty. It didn't work and the "javaw.exe" kept running in background while I closed SH3D program. I have to manually kill javaw.exe from the taskmanager.
