Re: Sloping roof across all sides of the house

Thank you Kelvin, Thank you Keet for all you help. I dont know how to use blender but a big Thank you for both the 3d models which will help me design a realistic looking roof. I also figured out an alternate way/cheat as per suggestion from Keet. I will share that too shortly. Cheers !

This is the one how I tried.

Created a wall in three parts and copied it as furniture and managed somehow but goofed up a bit on the corner angles and texture. Its not perfect, I just wanted to share what I did. Finally I am going to make it how Keet suggested with Kelvin's tile and corner model.

Thanks guys.

It's not exactly what you want but that is what I can do until now.

Looks good to me.. just wanted to zoom in to the corners of the elevated front side and back side of the house. Would you mind sharing the project file please?
Thanks

Re: Sloping roof across all sides of the house

Take it

If you want a perfect 3D view and you don't care about the size of the file, you have to make it like in real life: combined piece by piece.
You will see you will have to accept some compromises.
The perfection exist only you make it.
SH3D is good to show to constructors what you want in final, not to teach them how to do.
For colors and nuances I recommend to listen your wife.
It's good for your health.

Yes. absolutely !
It looks like you made the entire roof and exported as an object file by the name Roof and imported it in my project file. The groups beneath the imported object is something I need to figure out. I will have to spend some time on it to understand the logic on how you made it. Thank you very much for sharing.
