How Can I Select Objects Completely Covered-up by Other Objects?
I have a big box object that is over a smaller box object. I want to select the smaller box to edit its properties without moving the box that is over it to get to it. (I apologize for the simple question. I'm a newbie and I don't have time to read 2,276 post titles to find an answer.)

If you use the desktop version you can install the Pan 3D view plugin, it allows to select objects by clicking them in the 3D view. Just orient the camera until you see the object and click it.

Right click in the plan or in the 3D view where the item is placed and choose it in the contextual menu.
