How to "lock" walls

I've adjusted several rooms/walls with inside dimensions/positions, I'd like to "lock" those walls so I don't drag/change one of them by mistake and change the dimension, what's the easiest way to do it? I'd like later be able to do it with doors/windows as well, can I use the same trick/tool or it's different?

Thanks for your quick tip, I assume it'll work with doors/windows?

Re: How to "lock" walls

Locking the base plan has some tricky things you need to know.
Basically it locks 'base' objects like walls and rooms so they can't be selected and moved. That makes it a lot easier to handle furniture without interference from those base parts. You can lock/unlock using the Plan menu 'Lock base plan' option or clicking the small lock on the top-left of the 2D window.

You can include most furniture as part of the base plan by checking the furniture property 'Part of base plan' but... that property is sometimes grayed out and you can't set/unset it. This is mostly with doors and windows. From trial-and-error I have determined that an object checked as a door or window has a grayed out "Part of base plan" property.
You can only switch it on/off by checking/unchecking the "Movable" property. This property and the door-or-window property are only accessible through the Furniture Library Editor. You can't see or change them on the furniture itself.

So:
Object is door-or-window and movable is checked: not part of base plan and can't be changed
Object is door-or-window and movable is unchecked: part of base plan and can't be changed
Object not door-or-window: part of base plan can be changed

There's probably a good reason why it works like this although I haven't figured out what that reason could be, especially since you can bypass it by using the Furniture Library Editor. For setting a default I can understand but not why it is blocked for doors and windows.
