Moving walls when connected to angled walls
Hi,
I have a house layout with some 45deg walls connected to more normal 0deg and 90deg walls The tool does a great job of creating the first layout
I struggle to keep the 45deg angle when moving the attached 0deg or 90deg walls The 45deg walls keeps the connection with the 0deg or 90deg walls but does not keep the 45deg angle
Is it possible to keep the 45deg angle of the walls when moving attached walls?

Select the wall and the attached 45° wall before you start moving. The 45° wall will move with the wall and retain its 45° angle.

You should select the 3 walls before moving them, using the Shift key + a click on the wall to perform a multiple selection.

As it's just an angle of 45°, you could try to modify the cooordinates of the wall with its modification dialog, adding or removing the same value to its end coordinates. Keep in mind that you can enter operations in numeric text fields to simplify the maths.

What you seem to be describing is a CAD style constraint/solver system. SH3D does not have that. Adding that kind of stuff is extremely complex.
Indeed, I saw this in other architectural CAD sw I thought this kind of problem were already solved in some free library available in open source I guess this is not the case yet

Re: Moving walls when connected to angled walls
There are open source solver libraries (i.e. SolveSpace ), but it is more about the complexity of integrating them into an established application like SH3D whilst maintaining the existing usability. SH3D is significantly easier to use than a true CAD application, and shoehorning something like a solver into it would likely impact that usability, and take a lot of the developers time.
