Drawing on background image size problem A3 and A4 format
Hi to all :)
how do I set a jpg image that I will use to draw my floor plan? Namely, I just need a monochrome display. I need draw and print in A3 and A4 format. I tried to select (example) A4 in Page setup/Page format, but I don't understand what values I have to enter when inserting the background image that I will draw on it? I tried something, but when I go to Print to PDF, the drawing is much smaller. There is a room to be more bigger.

You'll have to find the right scale when you import your image, and when you print it in page setup. The background image is not taken into account when the Best fit scale option is selected and if you want it to entirely appear on the printed page, just add some dummy very small polylines at two opposite corners of the image.

Can you make an example and post it here?
What if you read twice this User's guide part ? Indeed you will have to make some practices until you will have a satisfied result. In my case, for good scaling, in step 3 I use the full screen and magnification buttons to set the blue line as accurately as possible.
