Visibility between levels in plan view

Hello,
I'm designing a Datacenter room with floating floor.
Level 0 with normal floor and all cables (electrical and network).
Level 1 with floating floor with 30cm elevation and all datacenter devices.
On this level I have removed some pieces of floor to have holes corresponding to electrical boxes drawed on level 0.
However, on level 1, in plan view, I don't see what's underneath these holes.
Am I forgetting something or is it not possible to see between the levels ?

thanks in advance
best regards
Davide

Re: Visibility between levels in plan view

In the 3D view you should be able to see through the hole at what is beneath it. In the 2D view you only see what is on lower levels if the object height is such that the top reaches the current level. For example walls at the correct height show a light grey outline on the level above it.
Add an object on level 0 that has a height of 50. You will see that is shows in the 2D view when you are on level 1. Decrease its height to 20 and you will not see it from level 1.
