confused Problems by overlaying an object in another

Hi, sorry for my poor english, I am spanish and i'm using a traductor for this.

My problem is I'm trying to do a kitchen. I try to put a sink on top of a countertop overlay (which really is an object "box" modified program) and I see the sink cut in top. How I can superimpose the sink to make a hole in the countertop?
Thank you very much and best regards.

Sweet Home 3D is able to compute holes only in walls where you place doors or windows. In your case, please design your sink cabinet with a general 3D tool like Art of Illusion or Blender, then import the model you created in Sweet Home 3D.

Yuki,

Of course you could also follow the roof tutorial (pdf).
Make a wall the size of your counter top, insert an invisible box for the hole, then use CopyAsNewFurniture (pdf), and export the part.
While importing you rotate it 90 degrees, and you can use it as a counter top with a hole for the sink.
