Bigger equirectangular photos

Hi,
I'm using SH 3.4 mac version. It seems that the biggest possible equirectangular photo is 3000x1500 px. Isn't there any possibilities to grow the size? I need a 6400x3200 px for a good full screen virtual tour.

Thanks a lot for an easy to use 3d program.

The biggest size is 10000x10000 px (10000x5000 for equirectangular photos)

Pentti,

If you have a complex scene with lots of details and lighting, be prepared to wait a day or two for your rendering to finish. smile

Re: Bigger equirectangular photos

Thanks Emmanuel and Hans.
When I'm trying to change width to 10000 the height changes automaically to 500. The only set is 3000 to 1500 px that the SH accepts as maximum confused . Hope there isn't differencies between PC and Mac versions.

Yes Hans, I've prepared for a long walk biggrin

Re: Bigger equirectangular photos

Now, instead of writing, I tried to change values with those small arrows. First i tried to grow the widht, but it stopped in 3000 px. Then I tried to grow the height value and I succeeded to change the value to 3000 and width to 6000. But there it stops. It seems that the largest format is 6000x3000 px. If you know how to make it bigger, please, I'm ready to learn. But Im already happy to have a double size compared with previous.

thx
Pentti

Re: Bigger equirectangular photos

Strange... Normally you just have to type the value you want in the Width or Height text fields.
As both width and height can be as large as 10000, I even succeeded to enter 10000 as height at the moment, resulting to a width equal to 20000 (consider this as a minor bug).

Re: Bigger equirectangular photos

My guess is that you use the Advanced rendering plug-in. Forget it, it's not supported in version 3.4 anymore, just use the standard Create photo tool of Sweet Home 3D which is able of the same thing and even more (see also this message, this one and this thread)!

Re: Bigger equirectangular photos

You are right Emmanuel. That will make the job. Thanks for guiding me quickly out from the forest. I was too eager to try the newest version that forget to read about advanced rendering drop-out. I'm very sorry about that. sad
Now I'll left my Mac do the job. Hope I'll find a huge equirec in the morning biggrin

Thx
Pentti
