model based furniture export
Hi,
I have a very large furniture repository (lots of models from google warehouse due to which size is very large 6 GB)..If i wish to run sweet home 3d on a new faster computer and see my created home models there i need to export entire furniture library..a very heavy file....
Is it possible to export only the furniture used in my home model and import it in new computer to see my model there .....
If this feature is already there please tell me how to do it...

Re: model based furniture export
Since version 3.0, it's possible to copy the 3D models and textures imported on a computer to an other one (even if it's running on a different operating system) without using the Export to SH3F plug-in. Just transfer the content of the following folder to the similar place on the other computer: - under Windows Vista / 7, C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D , - under Windows XP, C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D , - under Mac OS X, Library/Application Support/eTeks/Sweet Home 3D folder found in your home folder, -under Linux, .eteks/sweethome3d folder found in your home folder. To avoid to create the right folder on the destination computer, run Sweet Home 3D on it and change at least one preference, then quit. If you have some problems to find the previous directory, keep in mind that the system might hide it. The sub folders found in the previous directory that you may also copy are: furniture, textures, plugins and languages. The other ones are not useful for this transfer.
Hope you can handle it...

Re: model based furniture export
Sorry, i read again your request and see you wanted to copy only models of a sh3d file into the furniture catalog of an other computer. It's not possible at the moment but you can copy paste any piece of a furniture from an opened document to an other.
