Triangular Countertop

Hello all-

New to the forum and pretty new to the product, although I have experience in Autocad. My question is this: I want to design a triangular shaped island for my kitchen. How can I create a work surface that is elevated and specify a specific shape and dimensions? I almost need a polygon tool of sorts. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Triangular Countertop

You could import the triangle shown in 3D models page, orientate it in the second step of furniture import wizard, and resize it.
About the "polygon tool of sorts" I have no idea what you mean. Maybe you can create it in Autocad and export it in a format supported by Sweet Home 3D?

Re: Triangular Countertop

Justin,

Polygons are a bit hard to design in SH3D. You might try Blender or Art of Illusion for that purpose. Or you combine several squares (thin boxes) and triangles to get the desired polygonal shape.
