Ciao Hans, may I address you directly? I'm trying to draw a roof, I looked at the tutorial for sloping roofs and ceilings, dormers and more, and then the tutorial for plug-ins and extensions, but even so I can not install the plugin - CopyAsNewFurniturePlugin-1.1.sh3p.
This is because windows informs me it does not know the file extension. I tried to open it with SH3D, did not work. I tried to run it with the java web launcher, and it says it can not start the application. Hans, do you have a suggestion for me? How do I install the two add-on, thus I can draw the ceiling? I read that you could give a look to my drawing I'll be more than happy to send it to you... thanks Paolo

The plug-in tutorial explains in section B:
B - How to install a plug-in 1 - Windows To install a SH3P file in the plug-in folder, simply double-click the file.
Maybe you missed this? If that doesn't work, you can do the reverse procedure for uninstalling:
C - How to uninstall a plug-in 1a - Windows Vista and Windows 7 Remove the plug-in from the folder C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\plugins
That means, that you copy the plugin to this directory.
If you want me to look at your file, send it to me and explain what I should look at.
