Disassembling A 3D Model
Hi Everyone,
I'm brand new to Sweet Home and SketchUp, but I'm having a BLAST playing with them! I was wanting to do a layout for a reno I'm planning for my home, that's how I stumbled upon these programs. True to form, as I realized the potential of Sweet Home and SketchUp, I became obsessed, much to my wife's chagrin. Anyway, I am trying to layout the kitchen in a specific way, I have the floor plan set up the way I want, but am having trouble with the counter and cabinet layout. I did find a SketchUp model that would work, with some modifications, but I have no idea how to move the pieces around. Anyone have any tips or suggestions? I would be happy to send the files if it would help.

Re: Disassembling A 3D Model
Hi Hans, that part I figured out from reading an earlier post. What I wanted to do was modify the model BEFORE I did the export. It had the sink in a different location than my wife wanted, wrong style of oven, etc. LOL No worried though, I imported it as it was and my wife seems to like it as is, surprisingly!
