Edit the furniture list
And another question... it's the week I ask everything on my mind
This is about the furniture list on the left side of the screen.
I already found out how to: - add a new section - add new items - delete user's added items (don't know how to delete standard features, though)
My problem is that this list has been quite moody for a couple of weeks (about as long as the problems with inserting files that use long names): it allows whatever changes I wish... and simply ignores them by the next time I open the software. Meaning my changes only last for one working session, which isn't good enough to me. Anyway, even when the changes are actually saved, they demand to be processed one at a time, which is anyway quite too slow to me.
Is there any way to access the saved feature list on the hard-disk somewhere, and then change it using the Furniture Library Editor? Maybe on a similar way as the favourites-editor for internet?

Re: Edit the furniture list
You may have encountered a similar issue to okh , i.e. the preferences (including imported furniture) are not saved anymore because you entered many different words in Sweet Home 3D. Waiting for next version, you can fix this issue following these instructions: - quit Sweet Home 3D - find the preferences.xml file in Sweet Home 3D private directory (under Windows 7/8, it's C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D) - create a backup of this file (in case you modify it incorrectly) - edit it with any text editor - find in the text the lines that contain autoCompletionStrings - delete the line - save the file - relaunch Sweet Home 3D - your preferences are saved again correctly.

Please try the previous tip first. Then, you can export all the furniture you individually imported in Sweet Home 3D with the ExportToSH3F plug-in. Once you installed this plug-in, choose the new menu item Furniture > Export imported furniture to SH3F... to create a SH3F file that you can edit with the Furniture Library Editor.
