Re: floor connects through corners
That's because it's only ONE room for SH3D.
Check the corners of the room, and make sure that the X,Y coordinates of connecting walls are exactly the same. As an alternative, you can install the plug-in AdvancedEdit which provides the function Connect Walls. See the tutorial on plug-ins on the Documentation page.

Re: floor connects through corners
thank you, i will try the plugin because the walls aren't connected properly due to their different width and the fact that some of them symbolise pillares which need to be the same in every layer while the others are additional walls which are different on every level.

Re: floor connects through corners
Whenever I draw a house, I first make a rough draft, drawing the walls using the mouse. Then I edit every wall and change the X,Y coordinates to exact figures. This way my walls always connect correctly. It doesn't matter if walls are thick or thin. If they both end on exactly the same coordinate, the room is considered closed.

Re: floor connects through corners
sadly it doesn't work, the plugin won't work properly because the walls which symbolises pillars won't be recognised very well, resulting in diagonal walls. The same happends if i manually correct the start / endpoints of the walls, at the pillars the walls will be centered leading to diagonal walls.
Some Walls have to start in center of one side of the pillar while others don't (see image in first post
isn't there a way to deactivate the connection of the rooms?

Re: floor connects through corners
Strange. I cannot reproduce the effect. Are you sure that the room shown in the 2D view are the problem? Looks to me as if there is something else there. Easier to say if you share the file. ok

Re: floor connects through corners
it seems like i found the issue: I was having two floors on top of each other which led to the problem: the reason for this was because i needed the footprint of the building as well a the rental area of each room without construction space. deleting the "floor" which represented the footprint of the building solved the problem.
if the problem occurs again i'll post the file. but at the moment it seems to be fixed. Thanks for helping :)
