Theory and practice, 5.0 features
The below image shows using 5.0 features in practice. Project is to turn old unused basement storage into a proper workspace. The original work plan was split in multiple same level layers for different tasks. Plumbing, electrical, furniture, dimensions. What turned out to be especially useful, is to hide different 'layers': The image shows part of the electricians work plan. On this level, all (ceiling) lightsources with symbols (but without lamps, see SF 3D models: #325 2DSymbols) are shown to indicate the illumination of the room. On the furnishing level, proper lamps and downlights will be inserted (soon). Text and lines in different colours indicate the different cabling tasks (coax, 220V, broadband).
The new 5.0 features have proved much more useful than originally expected, so thanks!

Strange, there should be an image embedded in the post. If you cannot see it, try to go to the SourceForge link: 3D models 325 - origin of the image(s) and files. ok
