Create photos at points of view - advanced options

First of all, thanks for developing this fantastic piece of software. It is not only very cool, but also really useful.

I am using the "Create photos at points of view" option. However, this option misses some options that the "Create photo" menu has. In particular:
  • Switch for enabling ceiling lights and selecting the lens
  • Selecting the level. As of now, all photos are rendered with the level that is currently visible in the 3D view, but sometimes I want some levels not to appear for certain points of view (especially for upside-down views of floors). It would be great to be able to store the selected level in the points of view.

And specifically on the points of view:
  • An interface to select the time of the day for each stored point of view. I know the points of view can be selected, change the time, and re-saved, but it is time-consuming, especially if you are planning on taking multiple takes.
  • Sorting the saved points of view, to choose the order in which they will render

I will check later where are points of view stored in the filesystem; maybe I can modify the files manually (faster than through the UI).

Re: Create photos at points of view - advanced options

To overly complicate things wink, I'd like to see the stored point of view also include the visible/invisible status of all furniture objects (including light sources) in the plan. This would allow one to batch up a number of potentially time-consuming renders and fire them off at once, regardless of where within the plan they are located. Currently, one either is limited to a subset of renders illuminated by the same group of light sources at the same intensities, or each individual render may be needlessly prolonged by having to test for intersections with all light source used by any of the desired scenes.

Variations on this theme might be "all furniture objects (including light sources and the intensity of each visible light source)," "all levels and furniture objects" or, if you really wanted to ruin Emmanuel's day, "all levels, walls, and furniture objects."
