Fix output video
Hi,
I'm rendering a video and it takes...weeks to do it even with a good machine because the soft does not seem to use GPU or the full RAM of my computer (32Go).
I ran a rendering which almost finished after 4 weeks but then I had to restart the computer and I lost everything. I found the "in progress" video in AppData, with a nonstreamable extension.
the file is "corrupted" because the index is missing and will be created at the end.
is it a way to fix the file ? I tried several "mov repair Tools" but none of them seems to know this format nor how to fix it.

Re: Fix output video
You were very patient, and unfortunately, I don't think the file can be repaired.
Note that using the GPU would require some big changes in the program and wouldn't probably improve that much the rendering speed if you have a good CPU. Please, see also the FAQHow can I speed up the rendering process in photo and video creation panes?

Re: Fix output video
Hi Emmanuel,
Thanks for the quick answer and no prob for the GPU, I know how it can be hard to implement. I also tried the FAQ advices but removing objets or lights is what I need and also why I need the good quality video.

Re: Fix output video
The tool that assembles JPEG images to video uses a Quicktime descriptor.
