Power of html5-View?

from time to time ;)

actually i have just a (short) question. i'm using Typo3 and it was easy to integrate the html5-view to the cms. also the view itself works basically responsive, not final modified yet. but the question is: how powerful are the libs for the view? i'd like to integrate some of my models, to be on the safe side, i copy each model to an own folder with all the libs and adjust the path. in terms of a cms id would make more sense to place the libs to ONE place and just point the path to the model - this will also allow easier update, if the libs might be modified (and btw. easier to create an extension for typo3). but can the libs handle more models at the same time? and what do you think, should be the largest size for an unique model? would be fine to get some ideas and suggestions, because in the near future i prepare models/workshop for the "victoriaturm/mannheim/germany" and also for the "messeturm/frankfurt/germany" to show the power of SH3D. you might find the early stages from now on here to get an impression: https://factor118.de/architektur/ https://factor118.de/architektur/

As explained in this thread, the home files created with the Export to HTML5 plug-in contain a Home.xml entry that respects this DTD. This XML file stores the 3D models, texture images and icons used by furniture and other objects in the attributes named model, icon, planIcon and image. The value of this attribute can be a file stored in the same ZIP file as Home.xml (for example "4/model.obj"), or a URL of a file stored on the same server as the ZIP file (security might prevent to reference a file on another server). This URL can reference directly a file like in
http://www.sweethome3d.com/textures/eteks-scopia/brown-cercles.png
or reference a file within a zip file like
jar:http://www.sweethome3d.com/models/contributions/batterie.zip!/batterie.obj
when it starts with jar: (the previous URL references the file batterie.obj in the ZIP file http://www.sweethome3d.com/models/contributions/batterie.zip).

many thanks for this information. gives me some new ideas ,)

guess, my issue is a little bit simpler at all. after export to htm5, i get a zip, which contains a zip. when i extract the first zip, i will find also the lib-folder(s).

these libs are the same for all exported files(?) and referenced in the html-files for showing the model.
i'd like to place the libs on a unique place, change the reference to this path and later i just need to change - one - line in the html to point the zip of the model.

i'll try it this way, create approx 10-15 models and ask some friends to call the diffrent models at the same time to see what happens.

The easiest way should be to use a unique name for each OBJ file. Therefore, in the Home.xml file, you could easily replace each xxx/objectName.obj by an URL similar to jar:http://server/path/object.zip!/objectName.obj.
It's more or less what is done in the Export action of the Exported homes manager that tries to reduce the size of each sh3d file exported on sweethome3d.com, by referencing URLs to free models as often as possible.
