Thanks. It did not occur to me that in creating a room I actually am creating a floor. And to this point I have been thinking only about layout, so I did not think that TEXTURE was applicable.

Using the ROOM tool, I am finding it very difficult to create -- or even to approximate -- a non-rectangular room, such as a regular hexagon or a regular pentagon.

I can create a room with five or six corners, but the difficulty comes when I try to make the sides of equal length or the angles equal ...

I am working on a single room, not an entire house. I created the room, but the background is a dark grey, with a black border. But the grids are difficult so see. Can I make the background lighter grey or even transparent (but still keep the black border)?
