Lighting problem with sloped ground
I experience a problem with the sun light which I do not quite understand, maybe somebody here can help:
Very very slight sloped grounds reflect too few sun light when comparing to flat grounds.

Re: Configurable Key Bindings
For example, it would be very handy to be able to switch magnetism on and of via hot key. In general, I turn it on, but occasionally, I need to switch it off for a few edits.

Re: Improve air view: extended range and moveable rotation center
At least it would be neat to copy the current aerial viewing point to virtual visit mode when switching from aerial view to virtual visit mode.

Improve air view: extended range and moveable rotation center
I really hope nobody feels offended by the several wishes I publish. SweetHome3D is really awesome and I am using it regularly for 2 years now. I wish to express my thankfulness for all those who contribute!

Re: Setting for world elevation
Hey, the beach is 200km horizontally but only 34m vertically away for me, so this wouldn't solve the issue. [;)]

Groupable Polylines
Polylines can not combined to a group. Only objects can.
A pity since I use several construction lines which I would like to share between many layers. Instead of copy&pasting every single line, I would prefer to combine them to a group and just copy&paste this group.

Setting for world elevation
I am constructing house and environment. For my mental stability, the reference elevation is 0 := FFL (finished floor level). This means that that the garden's elevation is below 0.
The rest of the world is at height 0 which does not look so well. My garden is certainly not a pit digged into the ...

Configurable Key Bindings
I would love to be able to configure the key bindings. Some of the pre-defined shortcuts are unhandy (for me) and other functions appear to have no hot key at all.

Home Plan (2D) looks different on Linux / Windows
Hi all,
I noticed that on Windows, the 2D Home Plan shows the commonly used representation of furniture, which is a view from right above (pic1). On Linux, I do not see the top view, but sized rectangles filled with a 3D icon of the furniture (pic2) which is, at least for me, undesireable.
