This is exactly what I did. I have only had to convert the distances measured on a real apartment to the absolute wall corner coordinates. The latter took some effort with the calculator, especially assuming the unknown real wall thickness

The dynamic grid is actually a good feature, but might become quite disturbing, when I have to place the wall corners into the exact coordinates according to the plan. With low zoom I cannot see, whether I have placed the point correctly, and when I zoom-in, the grid ...

The grid changes as you zoom in and out.

Is there an option to set a fixed non-automatically-adjustable grid for the wall and object placement and to control it manually?
