Is there an option to set a fixed non-automatically-adjustable grid for the wall and object placement and to control it manually? The grid changes as you zoom in and out.

Re: Configure fixed grid manually???!!!
Sorry there's no such option.

Re: Configure fixed grid manually???!!!
Thanks!
The dynamic grid is actually a good feature, but might become quite disturbing, when I have to place the wall corners into the exact coordinates according to the plan. With low zoom I cannot see, whether I have placed the point correctly, and when I zoom-in, the grid dynamically decreases to sub-centimeter level, so I have to move the mouse with a pixel precision
An option to turn the dynamic grid off, and to define the fixed grid of e.g. 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 and 10 cm would be a good improvement.
My workaround was entering the coordinates manually, but for a complex apartment shape this took some work with the calculator
Nevertheless, great thanks, the Sweet Home 3D is really cool!

Just in case you didn't know it, it's possible to enter the coordinates of the walls directly while drawing them. As explained in the help, just press <enter> key to make the tool tip shown in the plan editable.

Re: Configure fixed grid manually???!!!
This is exactly what I did. I have only had to convert the distances measured on a real apartment to the absolute wall corner coordinates. The latter took some effort with the calculator, especially assuming the unknown real wall thickness
Anyway, thanks again!
Anyway, thanks again!
