Display 3d in a separate windows is blank
SW3D 6.1.2
Linux Mint 19 x64
Nvidia 2060 @ 418.56
When I attempt to display my model 3D in a separate window that window is blank. Flipping back to normal view works fine.
Creating a new model works in the separate window. Opening an old one doesn't.

Re: Render Multiple spherical pictures
In the "Create Photo..." dialog there is a "Lens:" pull down menu in Q3 and Q4 where "Spehrical" is an option.
In the "Create Photos at points of view..." dialog there is no "Lens:" pull down menu anywhere.

Render Multiple spherical pictures
So I've finally cottoned on to the fact that you can save locations then batch render photo's from these saved locations - awesome!
The missing piece seems to be that I can't set a spherical lens from the multiple photo rendering dialog.
Am I missing something or can I just not do this?

Re: Missing surfaces on imported models.
OK, so, if I carve out the handrail using boolean subtraction it comes out right. If I extrude it from a flat shape it comes out back to front.
In blender they look similar but SH3D interprets them differently.
I tried to diff the OBJ files but there were too many differences. I can export just ...

Re: Missing surfaces on imported models.
If I use "Invert back and front faces" the handrail comes out right but the rest gets scrambled.

Re: Missing surfaces on imported models.
Hi,
The model imports into ArtOfIllusion OK.
Applying a texture or uniform colour doesn't make the missing surfaces re-appear
On closer examination it doesn't appear to matter what angle I look at the handrail from I can always see the inside of the surfaces, never the outside. So they are there ...

Missing surfaces on imported models.
I've created a staircase in Blender in which the handrail is an extruded plane.
When I import this into SH3D the handrail has surfaces missing. I've tried DAE and OBJ, the result is exactly the same.
Any idea what causes SH3D to lose surfaces on imported models?

Re: Round service hatches?
There's a round window. Just make it invisible.
