Open and Save dialog - nothing happens

Hi,

I'm new to this app but already love it. Only one problem, I can't save my work...phu.

When I click on the save icon (or select File/save in the menus) nothing happens. Same thing if I select File/Open or File/save.

Tried to run the app as an Administrator, ordinary user, XP compatibility mode.

I'm runnig SH3D on Windows 7, SH3d ver 3,4 (Installed on the computer), Java ver 1.6.0_30. I can access Open and save when I run the app in Chrome browser (but then I can't access the menus).

Really appreciate any help you can provide.

Saving and opening homes in the online version doesn't work the same way and has nothing to do with the File > Open / Save menu items of the browser. This can be done only for registered users with the dedicated buttons in the toolbar of the applet.

Thanks for a quick reply. I followed the steps in the FAQ (including getting an Oracle account) but unfortunately it doesn't change anything, the File/open and File/save as etc still doesn't work.

It's like it it skips over the line where it loads and displays the common dialogs. No error message, no crash or anything....

But really appreciate you taking your time and hope that you have some other tips or ideas I can try.

Come on, someone must surely have a suggestion or two on how to get this to work.

It's so frustrating not being able to use SH3D. Beside a complete Windows re-install I welcome all suggestions .

Use the online version. Your files will be saved on this server.

I encounter same behaviour: file/open or file/save does nothing. No dialog box for file selction, no error message, no crash.
(Win 7 Home premium, SR1, all MS system updates, Java JRE7u4).

SW3D 3.5 as well as earlier versions.

Anybody any idea?
