Wall dimensions and a staircase

Hello,

I have 2 questions.

1.
While drawing a 2D floorplan, I see wall length info while drawing, but the instant I double click to stop the wall, the dimension info goes away. How do I get permanent wall length info on the plan?

2.
I am in need of a 90 degree staircase on the 2D floorplan, going from the main level to a basement. I am not seeing this in the resources, suggestions?

1. Add dimensions along the walls you want to measure

2. There aren't so many staircases, Collada models in Trimble Warehouse 3D should give you more choice
