Lights will not turn on, no matter what I do 3.4

Hi, new here.

I'm using SweetHome 3D 3.4 and have enjoyed using it for room layouts but no matter what I do the light sources from the Lights gallery will not turn on. (eg. "incandescent light source").

Google searches for this forum reveal people who have solved the problem but not HOW.

I've tried changing the angle and the light power. I've tried modifying the 3d view settings.. to no avail. Light sources just sit there as wire-frame when highlighted, but never power on in the 3d view.

I will also mention, I am not taking photos or videos of the 3d, I am assuming I can see them as I walk around in first-person view.

Thanks for your help. Trying to finish a recording studio, so I would really appreciate an answer.

Lights are only visible when making a photo or video in the two highest quality settings.

Oh, alright, thanks… so to adjust my lighting, I have to look at the photos.

but how do you do that in the online version? I can't create a photo in online sweet home 3D. [:(]

The Online version doesn’t propose to compute photos and videos. You’ll have to export your design from Sweet Home 3D Online Manager and create photos with the installer version available for download.
