Can't open Sweet Home 4.3 on my Mac OS 10.9.2

I installed Sweet Home 4.2. It installed but would not open. I upgraded Java as a thread suggested. Then I installed Sweet Home 4.3. It won't open. Help!! [:((]

Please give more details.
What do you mean by "it won't open"? Don't you see the splash screen of Sweet Home 3D when you launch the program? Can't you open an existing document?

Same here.

Sweet Home 3D v. 4.3 on Mac OS X 10.9.

If you double click the icon it just does nothing.

In a terminal If I run:

$ /Applications/Sweet\ Home\ 3D.app/Contents/MacOS/SweetHome3D

I have a file created with version 4.2 on Mac OS 10.8 called Home-2ndFloor.sh3d

In a terminal if I run:

$ open Home-2ndFloor.sh3d
LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed with error -10810 for the file Home-2ndFloor.sh3d

I installed the version that is bundled with Java.

Any idea what may be wrong? How to fix it?

Install Apple Java. If you run the program by double clicking on Sweet Home 3D icon instead of using Terminal, it should propose to install it automatically.

I have java:

$ java -version
java version "1.7.0_51"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode)
$

Double clicking on the icon does nothing.

I downloaded SweetHome3D-4.3.jar and this works:
java -Xmx2048m -jar SweetHome3D-4.3.jar

So, I have a working solution. I just wished the icon will work too.
