create custom stair case?

I need to place a staircase that look like this:

Can't find any tutorial on how to make a custom stair case?

To make one, please refer to modelling software like Art of Illusion, Blender or Sketchup. You may be able to find a model online (3D Warehouse?)- but the number of steps puzzle me. Is it a very high staircase (level above)? - I count more than 4 metres from the number of steps... That and the shape may be hard to find. If you would like someone to have a go at making it, you need to specify dimensions roughly and direction.

If you have the staircase model and just need to insert it - that is dealing with the shape - see Guide for SVG Path cut-outs and other furniture properties that deals with staircases and cut-out shapes.

Thanks for the answer. The schetch I linked was just a scetch. The number of steps are most likely compleatly wrong. I'm just after the "shape" of the staircase. I would say that the staircase is 2.55m high and ruffly two meters in length.

I'm a simple programmer not a designer so to give it a go in by my self in a 3D modeling program is out of the question

If some kind soul would like to help me out I would be more than willing to give the exact dimentions.

If you want it to behave like an SH3D staircase with an automatic cut-out, you will also need to specify the hole in the ceiling (floor above). OR not treat it as a staircase and manually draw the room above with a suitable cut-out. ok
