Newbee import from kmz / sketchup

Hi,

Bravo for this huge product. Awesome and easy. Thanks.
Found instructions for importing .kmz/.dae, but did not succeed.
Actually what does import a model means in SH3D ?
I tried opening those files, is it what import means ?
The only real import feature I see is about textures or components, not for full models.

Until now, importing is about furniture 3D models with Furniture > Import furniture menu item, texture images with Furniture > Import texture menu item, and background images with Plan > Import background image menu item.
