Propose Future Work

I am thinking as future work to add a menu item on the plan menu of Sweet Home 3D which gives the possibilty of importing an autoCAD format directly such as .dwg instead of only images.
If possible then ideas on how to go about it. THANKS

As DWG is a proprietary file format, I'm not sure it's possible to distribute such a tool if ever a developer programs it. See also features requests about DWG.

I worked in the past on some other private formats, but this is not available publicly.
