Wrap-around Front Porch

Well I figured I could make a room for a front porch, is this correct? When I did this the porch looks correct on the plan, but on the 3d model it shows the side portion of the porch underneath the floor plan. How do I fix this?

Without looking at your design, it's hard to say what happened.

It seems to have fixed itself. My next question is how do I elevate the wrap around porch, it shows it laying on the ground.

Did you try Plan > Add level? One for ground, one for porch/ground floor - and/or other levels you might need? ok
