disable ratios lock of lightsource

Post by hobbyrv »

When I want to import a lightsource, it is not possible to disable the lock of the ratios (it stays grey). I need that when I want indirect light against a wall with a large width and small depth and heigth. Now it stays all equal.

And in addition: when I make a photo or video with the best quality, colours are changing, what sometimes differ the design too much. Is there a solution?

This was possible in older versions of SH3D.

Maybe you can find that version here, make your basic design in that version, and finish it in a newer version.

I'm not sure this would work, but you could give it a try.

Why has it changed? Can it be changed back again?

The light sources are necessarily a sphere because their lighting effect used in SunFlow renderer is based on a sphere defined by a point + a radius, noting else. Deforming it on Sweet Home 3D side wouldn't change anything once rendered in Sunflow.

About colors, I'm not sure about what you mean. If you don't want any influence of the sun color according to the hour of the day. choose a night hour and light the scene only with your own source lights.
