More about lights and ceiling

I still have difficulties with getting good lightresults. But then I realize that I never use a ceiling, and in the examples I sometimes see is often a ceiling. So I look in the content of the tutorial, but find nothing about how to make a ceiling. Is it just a box you put on a floor? Can anyone tell me where to find the instructions or tell me how to do it? And aldo information how to get qualitative lighteffects is always welcome. Thank you in advance.

I looked everywhere in the information you mentioned. But I can't find anything about ceilings. When I draw walls, I don't get a ceiling. Kind request to point out more exactly where to find it.
