Purchased on Amazon as DVD. If download will DVD install overlay DL files?

I purchased on Amazon thinking that between the bundle of furniture, etc. and contributing $ to developers this was a good thing. Problem is, I didn't realize it was the DVD flavor until later.

Being impatient I'd like to download and start experimenting with SH3D. If I create plans, import objects, etc. and then later install from the DVD to get all the extra goodies, will my files be ok?

I was a heavy user of 3D Home Architect back in the mid 90's and I'm really looking forward to getting back to a product that understands walls, windows, doors, etc.! SketchUp is great, but a bit tedious if not a seasoned user.

As the developer of Sweet Home 3D, I don't sell DVDs or CDs on Amazon, but only downloads.
Anyway the files you create with the GNU GPL version should be editable with the version you bought.

Was thinking more of furniture and textures. Will they already be loaded or will I need to re-import? Preference settings, etc.?

I'm just getting started so no problem if not, just curious.

Love it so far! Very intuitive without a lot of need to refer to user guide, etc. Some things I suspect I'm doing the hard way, like switching between select and pan tools. I'm guessing there's either a keyboard or mouse shortcut so don't have to click buttons. I'll figure it out.
