Hi there,
I am new here and I do no have experience in using Sweet Home 3D.
Can I build my own 3D objects in this software?

You could use Sweet Home 3D to design new objects with some patience, even if it might not be the best tool to draw some special shapes and control vertices count.
Once you finished a piece, you could gather all its items in a group, or also export it to OBJ format to reuse it elsewhere as a separated model.
