1: How to change the basic grid measurements to a specific requirement.

1a: Change the basic grid measurements
From:
6' flat plan grid

To:
10' flat plan grid

Or: to 8' flat plan grid

Adding to this:

* Grid color / line thickness:
Having upgraded to version 5.7, the grid is very heavy (too dark, fat lines), making it hard to distinguish walls from the grid.

Is there a way to configure this somehow?

There’s no control on the grid spacing, color or line thickness.
Please read this tip for workarounds.
