Text on walls

I want to put a text on the wall. A step up would be 3D letters.

How to do this? Do I need to design a texture to achieve this?

Assuming you use version 6 or newer...

- Click the Text button (A+ )
- Type your text
- Check Visible in 3D view
- Choose Vertical
- Set Elevation
- Click OK (or Enter)
