Is there a known issue when opening a second file / flat?
3D view works, but the 2D screen shows red squares instead of the common furnitures view.

This sounds like a memory problem. What memory use is indicated in the About dialog? Did you try to increase the max memory if possible?

OK, I created such a ini file with 1000M (tried 1200M, but SH3D doesn't start anymore) and SH3D uses 0,5-0,6 GB of 0,9 GB - red squares
Is 900 MB the maximum?

Run the installer again and select the 64 bit architecture in the screen that lets you choose the installation folder.

THX, that helps. Now I have V6.1.2 and this installer has an option to choose between 32 and 64 bit. With 64bit the rendering works fine.
