Texture on walls and floors.....

Post by Mike53 »

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the way textures are applied to walls and floors. I noticed in a recent project that i could not align the 2 :-

The top half of this wall is actually an exported room, as you can see the alignment is correct in the centre of the image but appears to "grow" to the left and to the right, scaling down, both here are at 100%, does not help a great deal.

This looks like a simple scale issue, because the texture at the top is also higher than at the bottom.
Are you sure the texture wasn't rescaled at first before you exported the room?

I had the same idea mate, thank you, i must have changed it prior to exporting it for some reason, thank you for the reply. [:)]. It can, however, stay as it is, took me ages to get the right shape and orientation
