If you don't like it, did you try Q4 ??
As an alternative, you could try Enkonyito's plugin, in which you can "play" with the settings to get excellent quality.

On Q4 is Image quality a little bit better, but also not "clear". And it last much longer.

YES!

To get a high quality rendering with a CPU-renderer, you have to be patient.
Your CPU determines the rendering speed, and the time needed to perform a quality rendering will be more or less equal when producing the same quality image – no matter what CPU based renderer you choose.
A high quality rendering may take several hours, maybe even days.
