Rotate plan plug-in

Good Morning,

I have attempted to download the rotate plan plug-in from the PDF, but to no avail. I only get an HTML file (files.html) in the list of downloads in my browser. The file is not executable.

Can you give me any pointers as to how otherwise I could download the plug-in?

I tried the link, but it doesn't work. I just get "Files.html" when klicking on the link.
I am using Win 11 with the latest updates. Maybe this Windows version doesn't allow me to open the file.

Where are you clicking?
You have to scroll down to the Michel MBEM's message on 2009-05-24 and click on "RotateHomePlugin.zip" link.
Anyway, here is the direct link:

After you extract the archive you will find the plugin under RotateHomePlugin\dist\ folder.

I downloaded this plug in, where do I find it when I'm working in my plan?

You will find 2 new items under the Plan menu:

• Rotate clockwise
• Rotate counterclockwise

They should have a green circular arrow icon.

Please note that item names differ if you set the language to French.

Many thanks for all the inputs to my question. I managed to download the plug-in and installed into Sweethome 3d. The programme returned a message saying that the plug-in will be activated at the next start of Sweethome. This, however is not the case. It is not visible in the Plan menue after relaunching the programme. I am using 6.6.1 from the MS store.

This could happen for 2 reasons:

a) Your language isn't English nor French, so the new items are not under the "Plan" equivalent menu in your language, but in the "Plan" menu (yes, in English). For example in Italian "Plan" is named "Piano", but the rotate items are added to a new menu entry called "Plan":


b) Your screen is too small to accommodate the new items under the Plan menu, so they fall off the screen:


You can reduce the system wide content size by right-clicking the desktop and choosing "screen settings", then choose a lower value for the content size:

I couldn't rotate the plan successfully.

There is Plan Rotator. From this PDF it seems was by mickey2 (couldn't find it on plugins page, or here or anywhere). Not present on Plugin Manager with that name. But is identical to Home Rotator Plugin by Michel MBEM, packed by this user here. On my test on v1.2 took a couple of minutes (only uses one CPU core) and doesn't rotate polylines (couldn't find if there is an open bug (I wish the project would move to github/gitlab.. and to Discourse, and a modern website )).
