Building Shell from a floor plan

Hello,

We have created 3d floor plans for our building and now would like to enclose this into a building with ceiling etc..

Is there a video or example on how to do this.

Do you mean you created these plans with another software and would like to import them in Sweet Home 3D?

I'm new to SweetHome and it was explained that if we built the walls etc.. it's a simple task to create a building from this.

Creating a simple furnished 3D building with Sweethome 3D is quick. More complicated buildings take more time. Knowing how to use levels, then walls, then adding rooms (creates ceilings),then adding "furniture" and then putting on a roof are necessary steps. Youtube has other useful how-to videos, and examples of people's building models. People on this forum are very helpful with specific problems. The forum archive is a treasure of information and has a good search function.
