can you change the appearance of the Dimension lines?
eg make it dashed or dots?

this would help make Dimensions much clearer visually and not confused with other plan solid lines

obviously, should be a selection option in Dimension Preferences

I had the idea to allow a different color for dimension lines, not sure it will also allow the change you hoped.
