cannot edit first post in a thread

when i make a new thread sometimes I spot a mistake that I want to change but all I have is the option to delete the thread.

Can this be changed yo allow editing?

Strange, I edited mine just fine the other day. (Although it seems I made the thread in the wrong topic). There's an edit button above the header.

To avoid malicious spams, only users of a special group can edit their post. Shoulders, I just added you to this group.
