Split Level Structure

Sweet home 3D is a fantastic application. I am not yet fully familiar with it but learning everyday a bit more.

I have one question. I could not figure out from the manual how to create a split level structure. I tried to have some of the wall at half the height, but when I try to create the room it does not work. The second issue is how to create a storied building.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
