Changing the color of the top of the walls in 2D

Hi, is there any way to change the color of the top of the wall in 2D from the preset options? (black white, hatches) I would really need light gray walls.

Not in the 2D pane, you can only use the patterns in the dropdown list. For the 3D view you can set a color but not a texture.

frustrating this function would very help. Maybe it can be changed somewhere in the file structure? I mean change black to grey.
